Monday night, the Western Heights Board of Education approved the hiring of Mr. Matt Gindhart to serve as the District Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to his appointment as WH CFO, Mr. Gindhart has served as a Chief Financial Officer for Metro Technology Centers, Putnam City Public Schools, and more recently as the Director of Finance for Norman Public Schools. Mr. Gindhart holds a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree, as well as a Superintendent licensure.
When asked, Mr. Gindhart shared, “I am extremely grateful to be entrusted to join the amazing team at Western Heights. The motivation to continuously improve the trajectory of the district is infectious. To have the opportunity to contribute with a great group of people and to have a meaningful impact on the students, staff, and community of Western Heights is truly a blessing.” Dr. Brayden Savage, Superintendent, shared “We are excited to welcome Mr. Gindhart to the team. His wealth of experience and knowledge will benefit WH greatly, and we look forward to seeing the impact of his leadership within the district.”
